Relational dynamics have always fascinated me, and the dance of intimacy even more. The way we share and reject differences, the way we work to be accepted, be seen, heard, understood, loved. It is important to appreciate the dance of intimacy, drawing us toward our partners at times and away at others. This is the work I want to be involved in, helping couples find their way, possibly to re-experience feelings of when they first met, to be reminded why they chose each other. Discovering ways that love still exists in relationships and how things got off track in order to rebuild a more meaningful and satisfying life together. The courage that I have witnessed with so many of couples who have I have been privileged to accompany along their journey fills me with wonder and humility. Love is a powerful force to partner with, even when it is hiding out in the day-to-day grind, to do lists, unending responsibilities of life and family and momentary glimpses of joy.
Let’s explore together how to manage keeping the friendship strong in your relationship to masterfully weather all the storms your relationship might present. Whether you are trying to decide if this is the relationship to stay in, how to rebuild trust and passion, recovery from infidelity, how to support a partner when they have experienced trauma, or simply finding a way to communicate so the relationship feels good again, I can help.
